Contact Info Needed Outreach / Justice / Social Action
On behalf of the Justice Global Issues Team of Toronto Southeast Presbytery, I would like to ask if you could share with us the name and contact information of the convenor of your outreach committee or forward this request to them. It may be called outreach, justice, social action or some other name and you may have one or two as all congregations will be somewhat different. The Justice Global Team would very much like to be in contact with congregations in this area of work so that we may share information and support one another. Thanks so much for forwarding this request and we look forward to working together more closely.
A Request from the Toronto Southeast Presbytery Mission Strategy Team
As we work on our mandate and endeavour to understand our new presbytery, we are seeking information from pastoral charges. Specifically we are wondering if your pastoral charge has completed a Statistics Canada Environics Study for congregations. If it is possible we would very much like to receive a copy of the entire report. At a minimum we would appreciate a copy of the two page summary showing the key features of the postal code area surrounding your church. If you have done the study and are willing to share the results, please respond to Ron Scott, Team member at ronald.scott@sympatico.ca.
If you have not and would like more infomation on how these studies work and how they can be very helpful to your pastoral charge, please contact Anne Shirley Sutherland, Presbytery program minister at assuther@united-church.ca
Thanks so very much in assisting the team in its work and we would welcome communication at anytime.
