From the Treasurer... re Assessments

DID YOU KNOW...

... as a registered charity, a Pastoral Charge can claim a rebate on the HST paid on purchases? Yes, many of our Pastoral Charges are already making full use of this rebate benefit and that is great. If you are not then you should find out about the process. Once you are set up, the claim is easy to file every six months. As one minister stated recently: "it is like having a an extra Sunday offering twice a year."

Also, it is not too late to claim your final rebates on the Ontario Provincial retail Sales Tax. This is more complex and there are people who can help.
