Leadership Development Module

June 10-22, 2013 at Woodsworth House (CCS) in Winnipeg

August 12-24, 2013 at St. Paul University in Ottawa

The Leadership Development Module is an excellent opportunity for not only for those considering diaconal ministry, but for anyone taking on a congregational leadership role, or seeking to strengthen their skills, or looking for new approaches to ministry.

If you have people in your presbytery who have discerned a call to diaconal ministry or are wondering about it, this is a great place to start. The LDM is the first step in CCS's diaconal training program. A poster is attached and we would appreciate it if you could circulate it in your presbytery.

Tuition for this two-week intensive is $1400.00. You can apply online.

Visit the CCS website for more information, or call us at 204.783.4490 with any questions.

News from Emmanuel College

Emmanuel College is pleased to share a few announcements that may be of interest to anyone who is discerning a call to ministry / theological education, ministers, mentors and lay leaders.

MDiv Entrance Tuition Grant Extended!

Emmanuel College is pleased to announce that the MDiv Entrance Tuition Grant pilot project has been extended to include all MDiv admissions during the Fall 2013 – Spring 2014 academic year. The MDiv Entrance Tuition Grant provides incoming Master of Divinity students with a tuition grant for a maximum of 10 credits taken within the first 12 month of their registration. The pilot project has been in effect since 2011. The project helps to build stronger community in the first year class by enabling students to concentrate more completely on their studies. We are currently seeking the necessary financial support to enable the College's ability to continue offering this grant. For more information about the MDiv Entrance Tuition Grant and conditions please visit our website here.
