Welcome to the South West Presbytery

South West Presbytery began July 1, 2009 and is one of four presbyteries in Toronto Conference. Currently there are 58 ministries in South West Presbytery which includes one mission and two Community Ministries. Our membership of 258 is made up of both, members of the order of ministry, lay pastoral charge representatives and lay members at large.

South West Presbytery has a Coordinating Council and three circles – Leadership Circle, Engagement Circle and the Program Circle. Within these circles are the various commissions/committees of the presbytery. There is also a Worship Theme Group. For details on the mandate for each of the commission/committees and the Worship Theme Group you can look at the South West Presbytery handbook found on the left hand side of the home page.

Cost: $10 per person, $25 per person for groups of three or more

Participation: Confirm attendance by e-mail to eeve@united-church.ca by September 17^th, 2010. South West presbytery will host this event, drawing on leadership from other presbyteries. Participation from other presbyteries is also welcome.
