The Governance Commission of Northern Waters Presbytery voted to support a call for a full environmental assessment before a decision on the Mega Quarry. (See the Full Motion in the minutes for the Governance Commission from August 30). Information about this proposed Quarry was gathered by the Peace and Justice Circle and can be viewed at this tab.

The Northern Waters Bi-annual Youth Event needs a logo!
The deadline for logo submissions has been extended to June 30, 2012. Submit your idea. Logo submissions must include the word "Wave" in the design. The words "Northern Waters Presbytery Youth Network" may be included. Anyone may submit a logo to kperry@united-church.ca.
