Inter-Church/Inter Faith Relations Committee

MANDATE

The committee shall:

  1. initiate and respond to overtures to establish dialogue with other Christian churches and faith groups;

  2. be aware of and initiate responses to situations calling for joint action with other Christian churches and faith groups;

  3. exercise oversight of our relationship with Christian-Jewish Dialogue of Toronto;

  4. be a resource to those ministries which have a formal relationship with other Christian churches;

  5. be in liaison with the General Council’s inter-church/inter-faith relations committee;

  6. be in liaison with appropriate units of those Presbyteries which serve within the bounds of Toronto Conference.
