Toronto Conference Executive Secretary

David has been executive secretary of Toronto Conference since 1995, and before that served the Conference in the areas of stewardship, communication, annual meeting planning and candidacy support in the personnel portfolio. As executive secretary he provides support to the Conference’s president, Executive, sub-Executive and the annual meeting. He is a corresponding member of the General Council Executive and is a liaison between the General Council, Conference and Presbyteries. In his role, he is an interpreter of The Manual and Conference policies. In addition to being the overall supervisor of the Conference’s staff, he provides staff support in the following areas; annual meeting planning, archives and history, Cedar Glen Fund, church development fund, corporations, finance and extra appeals, mission support, nominations and staff committee.
